How to poach eggs

poach the eggs

  • Fill the saucepan about ½ to 2/3 full with water and bring to a boil
  • Turn the heat down
  • Add vinegar to the water
  • Crack one of the eggs into a cup and gently pour it into the water in one fluid movement. Repeat with the rest of the eggs
  • Cook for 4 minutes
  • Use a slotted spoon to remove the egg from the water
